Shaligram

The shaligrams are described as black fossel stones and is characterised by the disc marks they are worshipped in temples, monastries and house holds all over the world as a visible and natural presentations of Lord Vishnu.

Lord Vishnu (Shaligram) and Tulsi plant came upon earth for the benefit of mankind in Kalyug. Just like the worship of Shiva is done in form of linga, Vishnu is worshipped in form of Shaligram. The source of Shaligram is Damodar lake (kunda) which flows as river Kali-Gandaki where you can find shaligram (Mukti-nath-kshetra). Damodar kunda is a shiviate place of pigrimage. **A routine home worship of Shaligram brings peace, prosperity and wealth at home.
